Horse of the Year Show Celebrates 125 Years of the Welsh Cob and Pony Society
Horse of the Year Show is proud to celebrate 125 years of The Welsh Pony and Cob Society, with a spectacular commemorative display in the iconic ‘Arena of Dreams’. Founded in 1901 at a historic gathering of Welsh pony and cob breeders in Llandrindod Wells, Mid Wales, the Welsh Pony and Cob Society has played a vital role for more than a century in preserving and promoting one of the world’s most versatile and admired native breeds. Taking centre stage on Sunday afternoon at HOYS, this unforgettable celebration will feature approximately 30 outstanding Welsh ponies and cobs, to represent all five sections of the breed.
