At Horse of the Year Show 2026, a cross sample of animals competing in the showing classes were selected to be dope tested by the onsite veterinary team to ensure compliance with the show’s anti doping rules.
Further to a blood sample being taken from the following three animals; Stubbins Rebel Without a Cause, Adele is a Superstar, Brynseion Meirion.
The samples have been analysed using documented LGC methods and we have received confirmation that no prohibited substances were found. Consequently, there will be no action taken and the results will remain as they currently stand.
