On the 9th – 13th October 2024, Horse of the Year Show will be celebrating its 75th anniversary. To mark the special 75th anniversary year, Grandstand Media Ltd. are delighted to welcome a variety of judges from across the world to step into the Arena of Dreams. To amplify the momentous occasion, a new approach will be taken for the judge announcement process. The judges for each section will not be unveiled until the morning of each final, these judges will take on a number of appointments throughout the week. As the 2023 season comes to a close, Grandstand Media Limited is pleased to confirm that the Intermediate Show Riding Type format for Horse of the Year Show 2024 has been finalised. Following the feedback from this year, the 153cm and 158cm height sections will run as one mixed class in 2024, with 19 qualifying opportunities for HOYS located throughout the UK. The winner of the qualifier will take the golden ticket for the final at Horse of the Year Show. Qualification will pass down accordingly, but not below 5th place.
