The Equestrian Index HOYS Tradestand of the Year Awards (TOTY) are designed to recognise exhibitor talents in trade stand dressing and etiquette.
All trade stands by way of exhibiting are automatically entered into the awards which have two sections; Best Display 20sqm and under and
Best Display over 20sqm.
Judging for the awards took place anonymously by two industry experts over Wednesday and Thursday of the show during trading hours.
Every trade stand (and team) were marked out of 10 across four categories; best overall impression, warmest welcome, best use of space
and best interaction with customers.
Both worthy winners were awarded with a trophy and a year’s digital membership with The Equestrian Index.
The winner of the 20sqm and Under category for 2025 was Clare Haggas Fine Art & Designs. Judges praised the stand’s elegant, stylish, and eye-catching presentation. The space was used to maximum effect, with products displayed brilliantly and staff delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Taking top honours in the Over 20sqm category was Blackfort Equestrian. Their contemporary, on-brand stand was open and inviting, and Molly and the team went above and beyond to ensure every customer was looked after with smiles and good humour. Judges noted that the stand was smart, well-organised, and featured excellent changing room facilities, with staff providing outstanding customer service throughout the week.
