Horse of the Year Show are thrilled to announce that Andrews Bowen have renewed their partnership with the show and will continue to be the Official Surface Supplier for at least the next three years. Andrews Bowen are long established suppliers and supporters of Horse of the Year Show, having provided the arena surfaces for the show since 2007 and also headline the renowned International Arena.
This year marks the 16th anniversary working together, and both HOYS and Andrews Bowen remain committed to provide a world-leading competition surface for the competitors at the show. Last year’s event saw Andrews Bowen introduce the new 2022 Hybrid surface, which provided the very best elasticity, performance, and efficiency characteristics for the sporting action, and we are delighted that this is the surface that we will continue to see at Horse of the Year Show 2023.
The ability to develop arena surfaces, which are unique in property and components, comes from the background knowledge and experience that the Andrews Bowen team have long been established on. In addition to the knowledge gained from their extensive research and development programme involving vets, trainers, scientists and riders, the company’s directors Simon Bowen and David Andrews both have first-hand experience in the Showjumping ring themselves. In recent years the team at Andrews Bowen have successfully campaigned and trained competition horses from showing championships to top-class International Showjumping here at Horse of the Year Show. The expert team at Andrews Bowen ensure we have the optimum arena surface in the Andrews Bowen International Arena and provide regular maintenance with their ProGrade equipment to all of their surfaces on site throughout the Show.
