At Horse of the Year Show 2018, a cross sample of animals competing in the showing classes were selected to be dope tested by the onsite veterinary team. Further to a blood sample being taken from the following three animals; Whittakers Prince, Melvale Tam O’Shanter and Fellthorpe Esther Jane, the samples have been analysed using documented LGC methods and we have received confirmation that no prohibited substances were found. Consequently there will be no action taken and the results will remain as they currently stand.
