Update on rescheduled HOYS qualifiers from Bakewell Show

Following the press release sent out on Wednesday 2^nd August regarding the rescheduled HOYS qualifiers from Bakewell Show, there is a further change regarding the Harness Horse and Pony of the Year. After a more thorough examination of the ground, the Bakewell Show Committee have subsequently decided that they are not confident that the ring allocated to the Harness Horse and Pony of the Year will be suitable for the horses and vehicles for the Horse of the Year Show qualifier on Sunday 10^th September and therefore this class will be cancelled and Bakewell Show will refund the entry fee for this specific class.

In light of this, there will now be two qualifying places on offer at Chatsworth Show which takes place 1^st – 3^rd September. Chatsworth have confirmed that entries will be re-opened for the class and they will continue to accept entries right up to the show and including entries on the day for this Horse of the Year Show qualifier only.
