“Jamacho and I have qualified for the Racehorse to Riding horse class. We have been together for almost 2 years and are in our first full season of showing.
“He is an equine ambassador for Stratford Upon Racecourse after being one of the most successful Stratford Racing Club syndicate horses, trained by Charlie Longsdon and winning a total of 12 races out of 56 runs totaling £77,000 in prize money.
“He is now 12 years old and owned by the Ilona Barnett, managing director of Stratford Racecourse, and since his retirement we have had the dream of competing at HOYS, honouring one of Jamacho’s owners John Barnett, a well respected showing judge, jockey and horseman who sadly is no longer with us to see this dream come true.”
