“The pony that does it all… One minute riding around a busy county show, the next teaching the girls’ dad to do his up-downs. Dolly was originally bought as a happy hacker for Clara to gain confidence on after a nasty fall. She was originally found tied to a lamppost, with no condition.
“Clara has taught Dolly everything she knows, as her parents aren’t remotely horsey! It didn’t take long to realise how much this pony loved being in the ring and in the spotlight!
“She never puts a hoof out of place, and to see her jockey’s reaction on qualifying for Horse of the Year Show was priceless and super emotional. Matilda, the younger sister can annoy Clara at times, as she just gets on Dolly with little practice and performs effortlessly, which shows the special bond these two have .
It’s hard being a home produced team in a professional environment, but having days like this make the hours of hard work worth it! We cannot wait to see this duo ride around the arena of dreams in the junior coloureds, we still can’t believe this is real as it’s all we have ever dreamed of on our pony of a lifetime.
