The Equestrian Index HOYS Trade Stand of the Year Awards 2025

The Equestrian Index HOYS Trade Stand of the Year Awards (TOTY) recognise exhibitor excellence in trade stand presentation and customer engagement throughout the show week. All exhibitors at Horse of the Year Show are automatically entered into the awards, which feature two categories: Best Display 20sqm and Under and Best Display Over 20sqm.

Judging took place anonymously over Wednesday and Thursday of the show during trading hours. Each trade stand and its team were observed and assessed across four key criteria: overall impression, warmest welcome, best use of space, and customer interaction.

The winner of the 20sqm and Under category for 2025 was Clare Haggas Fine Art & Designs. Judges praised the stand’s elegant, stylish, and eye-catching presentation. The space was used to maximum effect, with products displayed brilliantly and staff delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Taking top honours in the Over 20sqm category was Blackfort Equestrian. Their contemporary, on-brand stand was open and inviting, and Molly and the team went above and beyond to ensure every customer was looked after with smiles and good humour. Judges noted that the stand was smart, well-organised, and featured excellent changing room facilities, with staff providing outstanding customer service throughout the week.

Amanda Watson, Managing Director at The Equestrian Index, and Carl Storey, Tradestand Manager at Horse of the Year Show, presented both winners with a trophy, certificate, and rosette, along with a year’s digital membership to The Equestrian Index.
