“Anchor Kryponite got his golden ticket at Moreton show winning the M&M lead rein qualifier. With 7 year old jockey Eleanor Stephens, lead by Mum Charlotte Stephens.
“Pony owned by Vanessa Moody. The hoys dream has been one of Mum and owners since they were little girls. Eleanor, who was inspired by youtuber Harlow White, has pretended to ride at HOYS on her hobby horses, rocking horses and real ponies for the past 2 years.
“A dream none of us would ever think would come true. This is their first season together, and what a season it has been! From a chance meeting in August 2025, Anchor Kryptonite’s owner was looking for a lead rein jockey, Eleanor had just won on her own 5 year old.
“We decided to see if they were a match for the 2026 season. It got off to a rocky start, but boy did they ever make up for it. Winning every class contested throughout the season all over the South west, and now this!
“The ultimate qualification and achievement. Proving that small brown ponies, born and bred on the moor, can do anything.”
