Horse of the Year Show Qualifying Story 💜
“After we bought Cush last April we had him cut and Charlotte started to get to know him. It took a little bit of time for their partnership to grow and by the end of the season they were really starting to fly together when suddenly in September Cush was struck down with colic.
“He was rushed into Leahurst hospital where he underwent major surgery which saved his life. After the long road of rehabilitation over the winter he started to come back into work in January and slowly built back to full fitness.
“They qualified for HOYS on their second attempt this year at Three Counties. This will be Charlotte’s first year of jumping here after 4 years of trying in the workers on different ponies.
“Cush and Charlotte then went out a week later to also qualify in the Open As at the Royal Highland!
“We are so lucky to even have him here but to have him at HOYS in two class only a year after nearly losing him is so special.”
