Science Supplements LogoScience Supplements will be putting its name to the Mountain & Moorland Working Hunter Pony of the Year title at this year’s Horse of the Year Show (HOYS), as its expands sponsorship presence at the prestigious Championship Show held at Birmingham’s NEC from 8th – 12th October 2014. 

The equine nutrition specialist is already an established supporter of the action at “The World’s Most Famous Horse Show”, having backed the Ladies’ Hunter of the Year since 2012. This year, Science Supplements will be taking on board another popular element of the showing schedule, in which visitors can witness a superb showcase of native British breeds.

 To achieve the accolade of Science Supplements M&M Working Hunter Pony of the Year, competitors will have picked up their golden tickets at one of the 16 qualifying classes at shows around the country.

Judging will take place on Thursday, 9th October, when winners from four height divisions – 122cm, 133cm, 143 cm and exceeding 143cm – will be chosen to go forwards into the Science Supplements M&M Working Hunter Pony of the Year Championship in the Andrews Bowen International Arena.

 Section winners will have been assessed on paces, conformation and their performance around a course of rustic fences.
