Grandstand EM logoGrandstand Event Management is thrilled to have won a five-year tender to organise the British Showjumping National Championships. The prestigious finals will be hosted at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, which is managed by the organiser’s sister company, Grandstand – Stoneleigh Events.

Tenders submitted to British Showjumping, the governing body of the sport in Britain, were considered in detail by the association’s National Sport Committee. British Showjumping commented that the exciting opportunities Grandstand Event Management will be able to offer its membership will only serve to build on a Championship event that has already become an extremely popular one.

The Grandstand Event Management team is well-versed in the running of equestrian events, both nationally and internationally. Together with events managed by another sister company, Grandstand Media Ltd, its portfolio includes Horse of the Year Show and, formerly, the British Open Show Jumping Championships.

Exciting plans are in place to make the British Showjumping National Championships an exceptional equestrian event. These include running an event for showing competitors alongside the showjumping competitions, which will expand the reach of the show and exposure for sponsors and exhibitors.

Helena Pettit, Managing Director of Grandstand Event Management, said: “We are delighted that we will be responsible for delivering the British Showjumping National Championships from 2015 to 2019. We are very much looking forward to working with British Showjumping on this event.”

More information and details on the British Showjumping National Championships will be released as plans are finalised.
