Hoys_RGB_new_logo.jpgThis year, Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) will see a set of three different sponsors working together in a combined effort to support various classes at HOYS 2015.

Kare Plus, Brineton Engineering and Colne Stud have united their supportive efforts to cover the Brineton/Kare Plus Mountain & Moorland First Ridden Pony of the Year, Colne Mountain & Moorland Lead Rein Pony of the Year and the Brineton Colne Mountain & Moorland Mini Pony of the Year Championships.

Kare Plus are one of the UK’s leading Healthcare providers delivering healthcare services to clients in their own homes and healthcare establishments throughout the UK. Kare Plus also recruit the frontline staff to deliver services within a variety of healthcare settings operating through a national network of branches working with CCG’s, Social Services, hospitals, nursing homes and learning disability establishments.

Kare Plus have been sponsoring HOYS for four years and have this year extended their sponsorship agreement. Tom Roe, group director of Kare Plus, said: “We are proud to play a small part in such a classic and established event. The event is one that promises to excite all those that appreciate anything equine and indeed, there are many in our network who are avid followers of this annual event.”

Co-sponsors, Brineton Engineering and Colne Stud are also not strangers to HOYS sponsorship, both having supported the show for numerous years.

Christine Madeley from Brineton Engineering said: “We have had many happy years sponsoring The Brineton First Ridden M&M class and hope to continue both as a family and a company into the future with HOYS.”

Brineton Engineering was established in 1966 to satisfy the demand for precision engineered components and they have since developed into specialists in the automotive industry with a keen interest in supporting the equestrian community.

The third sponsor to make up the trio of supporters is Colne Stud. Colne Stud was established in 1972 and specialise in breeding top class Welsh Mountain ponies to be shown in-hand and under saddle. Ponies bred by Colne Stud have, over the years, become Champions at HOYS, the Royal Welsh and many other major shows.

Ann Overton-Ablitt of the Colne Stud said: “The Colne Stud is proud to sponsor the HOYS M&M Lead Rein Championship. This not only brings a lot of pleasure to the children who compete in it but is a wonderful showcase for the small Native Breeds of Great Britain.”

Helena Pettit, managing director of Grandstand Media, said: “We are thrilled that all three sponsors are working together to support these classes at HOYS 2015.”

The Brineton/Kare Plus Mountain & Moorland First Ridden Pony of the Year, Colne Mountain & Moorland Lead Rein Pony of the Year and the Brineton Colne Mountain & Moorland Mini Pony of the Year will take place on Wednesday 7th October in the Caldene Arena at Birmingham’s NEC.
