Hoys_RGB_new_logo.jpgJohn Deere will once again continue to be a strong support at this year’s Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) in the role of ‘Official Machinery Supplier’. This year also marks the 5 year anniversary of John Deere’s involvement at HOYS.

John Deere have been the ‘Official Machinery Provider’ to HOYS since 2010, providing the Show with compact tractors and Gator utility vehicles for use in the arenas and stable areas. The smooth operation of the Show and the immaculate presentation of the surfaces couldn’t be achieved without the generous contribution from John Deere.

Over the past 175 years, John Deere has served farmers, builders and landowners with quality and innovative products. The machinery provided to HOYS each year helps to maintain and prepare the various arenas and to keep the equine areas to the highest possible standard.

The company’s turf division manager, Chris Meacock says “We are delighted to continue our support of this prestigious event. John Deere’s commitment to the equestrian community has historic roots in the use of horses that pulled the company’s first ploughs and farm implements in the 19th century.

Today we manufacture a range of quality machines for the equestrian market, sold through specialist dealers throughout the UK and Ireland, and our agreement with Horse of the Year Show underlines our ongoing partnership with this sector of the industry.

Helena Pettit, managing director of Grandstand Media Ltd. said “HOYS are thrilled to continue to work with John Deere. The quality machinery provided to HOYS over the past 5 years has been an asset in helping us produce such a successful Show”.
